Bob Barrios began working for the San Diego Fresh-Pak franchise in 1982.  In eight years he established himself as Branch Manager, and later bought the company. In 1990, in an attempt to diversify his business by distributing dairy products, he sold Fresh-Pak and bought the San Diego distributorship for Vita-Pakt and Knudsen Dairy Products. With the support of the Mexican and American Foundation, Bob was approved for the Small Business Administration's 8 (a) Program which helped him acquire contracts with the Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Starting as a truck driver, Bob's hard work, leadership and dedication has helped to grow a multi-million dollar award-winning business. Headquartered in San Diego County, and located conveniently in the Southern California area, Barrios Distributing is able to fully serve both national and international clients.
